PERFECT IMPERFECTION

I have seen Ladies, dark, fair & white
From diverse places, more cute and tight.
Prettier, fitter, and even more catchy.
Even in places of worship, and more 'churchy'..

I have perceived lovelier scent in deodorants
That can never be worn by any pageant.
Gentle, caring, of a rare order
I have seen, despite few in number.

My gaze has traversed beautiful pastures
So green & good for leisure,
My hands have caressed sumptuous diamonds
Costlier gold, enough to pause any on-going dialogue.

But...

An ironic fallacy will it be
To have her compared to all these
And yet I see my 'She' as unique.
Music can be lifting, Still I prefer to hear her speak.

No such roses see I in her cheek
Yet the air breezing from her nostrils, I passionately wish.
The impish being in you I prefer than gentle Seers
Cherish I, your black silky hair than those lovelier Heads.

My speech, my word fails me quite
When I look onto you for a moment to compliment.
The heart in my chest beats fast unquiet
Whenever my ears absorb your flawed accent.

My love, my mistress, as incomplete as you are
Without fret, I love you the way you are...
Cos' the Beholder's eagle eye crave true beauty
And in you, a Being that refuses to be filthy...still.

Just for Her...

Swimming in the thoughts of a certain Kween
The feel, intoxicating like the pills in Quinine
The pinch, this thought, ....conjure together like Siamese twins
Erecting the Castle of Her in me like scenes…

Sizzling, sneezing, yet blazing
What! what! what? my soul kept exclaiming
Why this suddenly invoking thought, amazing.
Birthing a reborn pill, leaving my whole drowning.

Swimming through my soul
Smoking, flaming as it unfolds
Down my spine,..... shivers of cold
Sweeping me off my feet, ..a dream retold.

Soaked with the thoughts of her
Go get Kween! Go get Kween!! this noise encapsulating my ears
Deafening, interestingly fascinating like the fermented beer
Yet, ripe like Harvested pears.

But all She says is 'No go-area'
The aftermath of series of expressive Lines,
Still cannot feel the signs
Of a certain Word- Churner.

So strong like ice,
Biting my soul, like that of a domestic mice
You Toyin! You Toyin! the tone rang like thrice.
May this come to pass, So I can stop this internal fight.

Then I can say ‘Oluwatoyin’
After much threats, bet and sweat
And then she finally says ‘Yes’
The manifestation of this admiration can then be genuinely felt.

An Ode to that Wordsmith...

Wow!

Lyrically Endowed!
Words louder than the Loudest Mouth

My Poetic Boss...Xikay
Here I lay humbled, yet dazed
At thy terrific, yet 'stupendous' Poetic Way

How I crave to trace
Through thy rhythmic Lace
Of words, able to melt and shred
The crudest and meanest of souls anywhere

Bravo! Bravo! Kudos!
Playing out words like Judo
Thy poetic dice strike like Ludo
Soothing.....oh! ...The Poetic 'Koko'!
Doff! Doff! my Heart and Hat say Bravo!

...lethal pains...part 1

http://facebook.com/linesNlyrics

Sun is set, cloud is red,
Shop is closed, traffic's on the road,...
Every's aim is to get home
Cos' night is here, Dark has shown

Most are home, ...tired,
Dinner is ready,  supposed
Bathroom's splash of water, desired
...then gate closed.

Strips, playing dirty
Crooks, getting ready
All from their shattering zone,
Ready to strike like a groaning Cobra rolls.

Skulls, bones, stones, signalling a danger zone,
Lamentation, incantation, Spreeing in a tune,
Only understood by the underworld alone
That even the intelligent few failed to know

Eyes dazed
Voice raised
The tune of the raid
Makes them 'swagg' like the 'maimed'

Bustling, Rushing and Smashing the rack
On your mark, innocent souls ready to be hacked.
Kneeling on their knees; Busting with tears,
Yet birthing more Snares.

On hearing the sound of the spark
Twinkle, twinkle like the very little star
On the hype of a slap
The eyes see 'stars' ...imprinting a map.

Striking with a big dagger
After swallowing the bottled lager,
Taste so bitter, 'Flexing' like a 'Baga'
Topping it with some 'Shangaria'

Steaming with a very high beef,
Heaving a sigh of relief
After beheading an innocent,  just from a grief
For no reason to feel

Men of the underworld
With Swords on board,
On its strike and spill of blood
One feels as if there was never a 'God'

The world indeed is a danger zone,
Man is warned not to be alone
Hence he ends up on the street naked & cold as Fear and Oppression engulf his whole,
Then spend rest of his life in the dungeon's hole...

...why the sacred cock crow.

...why the sacred cock crow

I bleed out these ramblings
With hurting spasm
As she exits the River of champions, enduring humilating harsh feelings.

Oh! tenacity and courage
Failed at the eccentric vigor the Old Lady paged
Even on a quivering Bridge.

Boots lashed, the net severally shook in vain
Ah!, fate seem defaced
In the means of plenty, Rays of  victory derailed.

Its time He learnt
That Mr. Faith favours the Tent
Where patience and diligence are well paired

This and that log is bad,
Now! Get them detached with no Reverse.
And the Bridge suddenly smash...

Decipher; When two Lions clash
Your 'Blue' grasses wither fast
Oh! How things Fall Apart!

The boots failed to save Her mist.
At the aftermath of 6 strikes unleashed
Huh! Even at the resurgence of a 50million Spaniard...Ish!!!

Lest, The Sea throws the Shell
In a spell of perpetual tears.
...If he has ears, Let him for once hear.

Roman! romance Your ego
And your Land shall continually grow
...The voice of the sacred cock ardently crow.
