FeBuhari!
The clanging bell of you deafen our ears
Like the ka BOOM gears
On Dele Giwa's downstairs,
Save our Ears!
These noisemakers, legal looters they are,
With empty promises of heaven unearth here,
In our polity of poliTRICKcians
In polyTYRANT parties.
Weak brooms weekly kiss our streets;
Caressing weak Dicks and Harries with swift tricks,
In feBUHARI they beg for DUMBprints
On bad locked sheets.
But they hooked it?
As Dasuki's well-cooked hit,
Febuhari or mar Buhari,
Our fists crossed for the waiting heat.
Febuhari.
FeBuhari
Iron man!
Trading millions in zillions' zeal
Basking them in lion's derm*
As in a cavalry.
February was Jo's decision ,
But Iron man, a strong opposition
Masked him in cowardice,
Just as he offers us lies.
On our periodic table,
He dines in his metallic stable,
Causing a great stubble
On any who causes him struggle.
Fingers crossed,
As we expect to be crushed.
For change we choose to be wise
And not trade with Jo to show
otherwise.
And Behold the FIREment of “BROOMBELLA” bout
Boom!
Was the news that birthed the
newbie -
Coming in cavalry of raffia
strands,
Opposing the calvaric tarpaulin
stands.
Mob!
Was the assembly about-
Broomstick stuck in skins
made us scurry to the shade of the
stand.
Hurry!
Then scurry to give the stamp aid-
Just one thumb,
Even if dumb.
Order!
To your tents Nigeria-
The broom is scattered,
And Umbrella tattered.
*(South-African) guts
“BROOMBELLA” (Broom and Umbrella)
FIREment (Fire and
Firmament)
